In this theme, inspired by the tribal customs of ancient Myanmar, the foyer is decorated like a traditional village, with several bamboo huts serving as food and beverage stalls.
As the Myanmar people love to start their day with a side trip to the local tea shops, the foyer is transformed into a tea shop setting with the small wooden stools and tables. As each guest arrives, they are given a longyi, the traditional sarong, and phan-nat, a pair of slippers, to wear. The staff are lavishly made up with thanakka, a powdered bark of tree well known to make the skin smooth and provide protection from the sun. Local cheroots and beetle nuts will also be available for those curious about these traditional ingredients.
Guests then arrive in the ballroom, welcomed by a group of cultural dancers to the sounds of traditional music. During the dinner, guests will be entertained with music and dance form the several tribes of Myanmar.
