Davui Events Centre
Shangri-La's Fijian Resort and Spa, Yanuca Island offers a range of venue options for meetings, incentive marketing, and conferences with the Davui Events Centre. The Centre comprises the new Ratu Makutu Events Centre and Executive Boardroom Bure, Davui Hall and Secretariat and Pavilion.
Ratu Makutu Events Centre
The new FJD 11m Ratu Makutu Events Centre is situated next to the Davui Hall. The 650sqm centre offers a contemporary Fijian design, and is furnished with the latest audio and visual technology and technical facilities to the demands of today's conference and incentives market. The design is based on traditional Fijian architecture, featuring high ceilings, spacious function areas overlooking the golf course and rara (lawn) and a separate but contiguous executive boardroom bure.
Davui Hall
Our existing 323sqm conference facility, the Davui Hall, is situated in a secluded location, overlooking the Peter Thompson-designed 9-hole executive golf course. The Davui Hall also has a separate secretariat and smaller break-out meeting room, adding to its versatility.
Pavilion
Overlooking the golf course with a height of 6m in the centre and 3m on the lower edges, the Pavilion is divisible into three areas to suit your event requirements. To add to the Pavilion's versatility, we also have a set of five (5m x 5m) mobile tents.
All of the conference and function rooms feature state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, including the following:
- Satellite and teleconferencing
- Large Plasma display unit
- Slide projector, overhead projector, LCD projector and direct projector
